On this night, the scouts had the Blue and Gold banquet to recognize all scouts that have earned badges or other accomplishments. Here is John David getting his Tiger Cub badge.

Is it a boy or a girl?

The day had finally arrived and by lunch time we would know the sex of the baby. We all headed to Jackson MS for a sonogram. Of course the John David and Holt were rooting for a boy. Me, well I really was hoping for another boy, but most of all I wanted a healthy baby. I love my boys and they are very special to me. As we watch the sonogram and we heard the news, Its a boy. We were all excited. The guys in the family were very excited about the news. Holt said, "Yes, no pink in the house." They were giving each other high five. Me I was excited also. We got some good news that everything appeared to be as it should, one healthy little boy.

An afternoon with hail.

No, this is not snow. It is hail! One afternoon in early March 2010 after picking John David up from school, we came home and there was about 4-6 inches of hail on the back deck. It was amazing. Of course, the kids loved it. They got there dump trucks and had a blast.

2010 Cub scout, Aircare

In February 2010, the cub scouts got a grand visit from the Air Care of University Mississippi Medical Center. The helicopter landed in the middle of the baseball field in Collinsville, MS. The scouts were so excited seeing the helicopter land and take off. They also got to ask questions and see some of the equipment.

Snow in Meridian MS 2010

Oh, what fun we all had in the snow. The boys spent the morning riding a knee board behind a four wheeler, sliding down the big hills and having snow fights. They were not really interested in building a snowman because it was not very adventurous. I spent most of my day changing their clothes, drying clothes and fixing hot chocolate. It was all worth it just to see the the boys having fun and enjoying the snow.
