John David's 7th birthday party 11/7/2009
John David decided to have birthday party at the bowling alley. His cake he pretty much told Wendi what he wanted and not to put the monster trucks on the cake. He wanted to do that part. It is hard to believe that he is already 7 ( or how old I am getting).
October 2009 Cub Scout Spookeree: Our first event was a family campout and we all had a great time despite the cold weather. Once we got the tents up and things unpacked we headed for the haunted trail and the hayride. The boys were not to afraid of the haunted trail, until the end when the scary guy in the woods started his chain saw. Then they ran and headed to the light. Needless to say we had drank lots of Hot chocolate because it was pretty cold. Our tent was very small so sleeping was tight. I think everyone was up at 5 am, which made for a long day. All the boys had a great time gathering wood for the fire and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. The next day the scouts got to participate several different events.
Christmas pictures 2009
I know some of these pictures are not in order but this was Christmas morning. The new 4-wheeler.

On Christmas Eve, the boys and John got to open one gift. They all got a pair of ear protectors for shooting. The boys also got a pair of glasses with theirs.
Santa Clause brought John David a 4 wheeler for Christmas and he was beside himself. When he crawled out of bed and ran in the livingroom and went crazy. He jump on the 4-wheeler and was ready to go outside and try it out. It was freezing on Christmas morning, but he did not care. He and his daddy went riding. Needless to say after an hour of riding, his hands and face were freezing. After having the 4-wheeler for a month, i can say it is not this clean anymore.
Christmas in Purvis was very exciting for the boys. John David got his own cowbay hat, a real roping rope and a plastic steer. One good thing, he has not tried to rope his brother or the dogs.
